How to Play Golden Dice: Over, Under, Odds and Payouts

A polished golden die hangs above a glowing threshold dividing violet upper and blue lower probability ranges.

Golden Dice makes the tradeoff between chance and payout visible before every roll. You choose which side of a target counts as a win, and the multiplier updates as that qualifying range becomes wider or narrower.

How to play step by step

  1. Set the stake. Check the total amount before rolling.
  2. Choose Over or Under. This selects which side of the target qualifies.
  3. Move the target. The highlighted range, win chance and payout update together.
  4. Review the boundary. A result must be strictly over or strictly under the chosen target under the current rules.
  5. Roll once. The server returns one number and settles the complete round.

Chance and payout move in opposite directions

If you choose Over and move the target upward, fewer values can win. The displayed multiplier rises to price that smaller range. If you move the target downward, more values qualify and the payout falls.

Under works in the opposite visual direction but follows the same logic. The target does not create a strong or weak side. It selects a probability range and the game calculates the corresponding payout after its published edge.

A simple probability example

At an even-looking target near 50, an Over call and an Under call each cover roughly half of the available result range. Moving toward a very narrow range produces a larger possible multiplier but many more losing rolls. Always trust the live chance and payout shown for the exact target.

RTP and independence

Golden Dice publishes a 98.0% theoretical RTP, which corresponds to a 2.0% long-run house edge. Changing the target changes volatility, not the published return model.

Each roll uses fresh random input. A run of low numbers does not make a high number due, and dragging the target after a loss does not repair the previous wager.

A sensible way to learn

Open Golden Dice in Fun play when available. Keep one stake, compare a broad range with a narrow one and watch how the displayed chance and multiplier change. Decide a session limit before balance play and never narrow the range simply to chase a larger number.

Read house edge versus RTP for the long-run math and what provably fair means for how a completed result can be checked.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Golden Dice?

Set a stake, move the target, choose Over or Under and roll. The server draws one value from 0.00 to 100.00. A qualifying result returns the displayed multiplier.

Why does the multiplier change with the target?

A narrower winning range has a lower chance, so its listed payout is higher. A wider range wins more often and pays less. The game applies the same published edge across valid target choices.

What is the RTP of Golden Dice?

Golden Dice publishes a 98.0% theoretical RTP, equivalent to a 2.0% mathematical house edge over the long run.
