Havoc Originals
Play Paydirt online at Havoc Win
Dig a seam 9 blocks across, 12 deep and 6 thick, where every block you can buy wears its own price, and that price is exactly the block's expected payout divided by 0.98. The 2% is the whole house edge and it is identical on every block, in every stratum, at every depth. The seam is not sitting there waiting for you: it is generated as you dig, one block at a time, from a published table that reads what you have already uncovered, so a struck vein lifts the odds on its neighbours and lifts their prices with them. Work the face with a pick, a 3x3 charge, a 5 block shaft or an auger that bores inward, bank the ore sack whenever you want, and read the streak honestly: it scales your payouts and your prices together, so it buys volatility and never a better edge.

How to play Paydirt
- Set the stake and choose a block on the exposed rock face. Every block you are allowed to buy carries its own price, and paying that price resolves it: ore pays its listed multiple of the stake, while dirt, gravel and stone pay nothing. The expedition stays open and the ore sack is credited only when you bank it.
- A block becomes buyable once the block in front of it has been dug, so the wall opens inward from the exposed layer. Lower strata and deeper layers hold richer ore and are quoted higher in the same proportion, which changes how the money swings rather than how much of it comes back. Bank whenever you like, up to a limit of 120 digs per expedition.
What Paydirt feels like to play
The seam is generated while you dig instead of being laid out in advance, so uncovering ore visibly re-prices the rock around it: the neighbours of a struck vein become both more likely and more expensive in the same instant, and the neighbours of worthless rock cool off and get cheaper. Both the conditional table and the live per block odds are drawn on screen from the server's own view.
Game features
Priced blocks
Every buyable block is quoted at its expected payout divided by 0.98, so the 2% house edge is identical on every block, in every stratum, at every depth.
Conditional seam
Block types are drawn one at a time from a published table that conditions on what has already been revealed, which is what makes veins form, run and run out.
Four tools
A pick takes one block, a charge takes a 3x3 patch of the face, a shaft takes five blocks straight down and an auger takes four blocks inward. A tool costs the sum of the prices of the blocks it actually reaches.
Pre blast resolution
A multi block tool resolves all of its blocks against the wall as it stood before the tool fired, which is what makes its price the exact sum of those quoted prices.
Streak multiplier
Consecutive paying digs raise a multiplier that scales payouts and prices by the same factor, so a streak buys volatility and not a better return.
Ore sack cash out
Nothing is credited until the expedition is banked, and a dig that cannot be afforded or names a block that is not yet reachable is rejected before any money moves.
